If you take your daughter prom dress shopping, and she still likes you afterward, it gives u the sense that you can do just about anything.
I think my prom dress might have been a Jessica McClintock, who was a big prom dress name. Or maybe still is? been 20 years so it probably is time for it to be back in style. I was so happy when I found it and it still fit.
Prom dress shopping – FUN FUN!
My gal-pals and I have an annual tradition of thrifting and/or digging up old prom dresses and going out in them, either to night at a bar or to a retro or something. I highly recommend it … a cheap night out but the fun of prom, without the annoyances of teen-boy dates or teen-girl insecurities. Of course we look like fools given that all 30-somethings (some with teens of their own), but enh, who cares?
